1. PAYMENT METHODS

Payments accepted: Paypal (for now).

2. PROCESSING TIME

Each item in my shop will list its corresponding PROCESSING time. PROCESSING time does not include SHIPPING time. Prior to ordering, please let me know if you need your item mailed quickly and I will try my best to accomodate your request! Also, if you don't have time to wait for me to create something new, feel free to get in touch if you're in a rush and I can let you know what I have in stock - lucia@luciawalter.com

3. SHIPPING PRICES

National and international (EU countries only)

- 4,00€ for standard shipping in Germany.

- 6,30€ for standard shipping to the rest of the EU countries.

- Local: If you're local to Nürnberg and would like to pick your goods up at my studio, feel free to contact me.

I'm currently not shipping goods outside Europe. But if you happen to live outside the old continent and really fall in love with one of my creations, I would be open to research methods... Just contact me at lucia@luciawalter.com and let me know which country you live in; I will calculate the shipping costs accordingly and send you an email with the information and final price, including the shipping price.

3. SHIPPING

-Embroideries: I ship embroidered goods within 5 business days (Monday-Friday). It might take longer in case of international shipping (see 3.2).

-Prints: Please allow up to 5 business days (Monday-Friday) for prints to ship. It might take longer in case of international shipping (see 3.2).

You will receive a shipping confirmation (along with your bill and care instructions) from me to the email address you use at checkout upon package being shipped. If you need something shipped faster, feel free to email me lucia@luciawalter.com. I'll try to find a quicker solution but please note the shipping costs will then be higher. I won’t be held responsible for lost or stolen packages but please contact me if you think your package is lost and I will contact the shipping company.

-Embroidered items will be packed in a hand-made gift bag and shipped inside a padded envelope.

-Small prints from A5 to A4 and similar ship flat in a rigid mailer. A3 and larger prints will shipped rolled in a tube.

3.2. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Please keep in mind that transit times can vary greatly! Occasionally packages can be pretty delayed, up to 45 days, but the usual transit time is 3-14 days.

When traveling across a border, packages occasionally get held up at customs. I do NOT have any control over this, it's in the hands of your country's customs officials. Please understand you are taking a risk in buying internationally that your package may be delayed up to 7 weeks. This is not common, but it happens occasionally.

3.3. CUSTOMS AND DUTY CHARGES

I'm not responsible for any customs or duty fees associated with shipping to your country. The costumers are responsible for knowing your country’s customs and duty policies prior to purchasing. Most packages go through without any charges, it is somewhat random, but please be advised that I have no control over how your country charges duty and cannot reflect these fees in our pricing. These are NOT extra shipping charges and you'll be responsible for them.

5. FAQ

- Are the colours in the photos true to life? Will the item look different in person?

I try my best to take photographs that represent my products and prints colours as accurately as possible, but colours might also vary from one monitor to another. Also, each item is hand crafted, which means small changes (specially in the embroidered products, where reproducing two exact stitches is very difficult!) but I put a lot of effort into making my products as depicted in the photos.

- How long will it take to process my order? Is there an option for rush orders?

Processing times vary between individual items so please check the listing for an accurate time scale. Ready to ship items will be processed quicker than those that are made to order.

I currently do not have an option for rush orders but if you wish to receive an item sooner than the given time frame, please feel free to email me and I will let you know if it is possible to get your order ready any earlier.

- Are your accessories water resistant?

No, they are not water resistant nor water proof. I recommend removing dust and lint carefully with a lint roller and, if necessary, wipe gently with a damp cloth and leave to air dry. Care instructions are given in every item description.

- Can you make this in another colour?

If you would like to have on of my items in different colours, please contact me with your request and I’ll see what I can do about it. Please bear in mind that producing a new product with your requested colours takes longer than purchasing a ready-made item. Please plan your time accordingly.

- Can you make this bigger or smaller?

I don’t contemplate producing smaller or bigger sizes of my hand crafted items. The available sizes are specified inside each product description.

- I have something else in mind. Can you make a custom order?

I am more than happy to consider requests for custom orders. Just send me an email  with your query so I can discuss the options with you, and I’ll try my best to bring your ideas to life.
